One of our favorite experiences while camping is sitting around the fire and making s’mores. S’mores are always a hit with the kids!
At our house, we frequently have a fire burning near our picnic area. So, S’mores are a regular feature during summer family get-togethers.
A word to the wise: those really ginormous marshmallows? Not a good idea. Of course, that’s just my opinion – but from experience I can tell you that they were so big that when roasted they were sooo messy for the kids to eat. Not to mention you could only eat a couple before feeling sick.
